Full sweep, from 100% to 0%, 20 seconds
|
Sweep of all convergence percentages in the multistar, from
100% convergence (most inner region) to 0% convergence
(most outer, jagged boundary). All sweeps are continuous,
20 seconds in length, to varying base frequencies (as noted).
The amplitude is adjusted from full amplitude (at the beginning)
to 10% (at the end), to compensate for the increased perceived
"loudness" which comes with the increasing amount
of overtones.
|
Note:
The audible "steps" in the overtone color
of the wave table sweeps are not artifacts, but represent passing
of a convergence
plateau. The largest such plateaus are for the 50% convergence
percentage, the corresponding "step" in the overtone color
can be heard exactly in the
middle of the sweep, after 10 seconds.
